Meeting Interesting People: Ayrat Bagautdinov

VERNATOUN welcomes Ayrat Bagautdinov — architectural historian, author, tour guide and lecturer, as well as Founder and Director of the “Through the Eyes of an Engineer” (“Глазами инженера”) project.
Through his work, Ayrat explores cities, architecture, and engineering thinking, helping audiences look at familiar buildings and urban environments from a new perspective. His focus goes beyond architectural form to the logic behind how structures are created, the historical context they belong to, and the engineering solutions that make them possible.
During the evening, we will look at Yerevan through this same lens and explore the city’s architecture “through the eyes of an engineer.”
